Jeremy Shaffer

Jeremy Shaffer with Skender-Newton Realty is an East Tennessee native having grown up in the tiny town of Bluff City and a graduate of East Tennessee State University. He has been a Knoxvillian for over 12 years and comes to real estate with a background in finance and accounting. Jeremy and his wife Casey have three beautiful boys ages 13, 11, and 9 as well their giant fur ball, Annie (a Golden Retriever).

He developed a keen interest in real estate as a young man while working with his father during the summers on construction sites. One of his fondest childhood memories was when his dad let him use a power tool for the first time helping to install a handrail. This spawned a lifetime interest in DIY related projects and the broader residential real estate market. Like many of his clients, Jeremy found himself spending far too much time on various real estate related websites and decided to take that passion for real estate and make it his career.

When he is not helping his clients achieve their real estate related dreams, Jeremy and his family can often be found in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee on mountain bikes, paddle boarding a quiet section of one of our remote lakes, or on a back country hiking trail. They also spend copious amounts of time at various sporting venues for their boys.
